Alesis DM10/ Nitro Electronic Drum Kit Hybrid. Excellent Condition
Alesis DM10/ Nitro Hybrid Electric Drum Kit. Please take a look at my well looked after Alesis Electric Drum Kit. This is a nitro kit - but I have swapped out the nitro pads for the uber awesome - and way more expensive - DM10 realhead pads. Everything works great, feels natural and sounds really nice either through an amp or headphone both of which can be plugged straight into the Nitro Module.
You are welcome to come around and try it first, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Nitro Advanced Drum Module (with backlit LCD Display) - 40 ready to play kits, 385 drums sounds to choose from, onboard metronome, sequencer and performance recorder. 60 play along tracks or use aux input.
USB/MIDI connection for use with virtual instruments, recording software or for stand-alone MIDI gear. Stereo out connects to any sound system and also has a headphone out for private practice (3.5mm). Wiring loom for Nitro Module. Extra-Quiet Stealth Kick Pad - With 2 compact triggers and floor spikes. Alesis Pro X Bass Drum pedal - Chain drive. 10 RealHead DM10 snare; with real mylar heads. 3x 8 RealHead DM10 Toms; with real mylar head. 10 Hi-Hat cymbal pad with choke. 12 Crash cymbal pad with choke.12" Ride cymbal pad with choke - The original nitro kit only had 10" cymbal pads but I this has the larger 12 Cymbals. Hi-Hat continuous control pedal - allows for open, half and shut sound strikes. Will also make "chick" and "splash" sounds when pressed and released without striking the hi-hat cymbal pad. Black Alesis Tubed Aluminium Rack. This has 4 legs making it really sturdy and the mounts are easily moved.
All rack mounts for accessories (including the module mount). 3x cymbal boom arms with multiple movement points. All felts and washers included. Drum stool (double braced with black legs). You can expand this kit using the same module - so you could add another two pads and an extra cymbal without having to use any other equipment. I have shown the back of the module with the other inputs.I have other items listed that would actually work with this kit/ module. (I have another 8 DM10 pad for example). I would prefer cash on collection due to the size, weight and value of the item. As I only have 12 photos I can't show every little knick and scratch, especially given that it is a used drum kit whose entire purpose is to be hit. So there are some obviously marks that you would expect to find on any used drum kit, nothing overly noticeable though and definitely doesn't affect the way it performs.
There is pitting to the cymbal arms, not really noticeable but you can see it on closer inspection. The DM10 snare pad has a slight split in the rubber rim, as it is a dual pad I regularly perform rim shots, so it has worn away slightly. I have actually put a photo of this in the listing as I thought this was significant enough to justify a photo in the description. However I have since moved it around so you won't actually hit this part of the rim anymore so I won't get any worse. The plug for the module is an EU plug with a UK adapter, it doesn't make any difference but looks a bit weird so though I should mention it.
There is no manual but you can download one from the Alesis website. The toms and cymbals have the obvious stick marks but there are also a couple of slight indents in the tom heads, again nothing major and there's no need to replace the heads anytime soon but just thought I should mention in. The module does need tweaking to suit your preferences, it is ready to be plugged in and played but when using headphones some things are louder than others and this just needs adjusting on the module to your preferences once you have it. Also, like a complete moron, I took a photo of all the items together and put the wrong tom mounts in the photo (the black ones) so I added a picture at the end showing the silver mounts that come with it which are actually better as they have the weighted rubber grip.
