HD-1 Roland Electric drum kit with a midi to computer converter. Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with Windows 7. Roland Drum Tutor (DT-1) which can play any midi track from Bitmidi or wherever and tell you if you have hit the drum kit at the right time. It can also slow down and can remove the sound of its own drum track.
Known bad points: all electric kits have soft kick pedals. The Roland HD range is unusually hard to upgrade this way. Also, the computer occasionally goes white for a second. This happens every few days and does not effect music practice much.
There are some paint marks on the outer lid. Known good points: this is a great set you could not get any other way unless maybe you subscribed to a drum training program. But even Melodics doesn't let you upload songs or see standard 5 line scores. Also, the mesh snare is easy to sell. Separately for several tenners if you want to change to another electric kit. The address is in East Sheen SW14 with free parking except 10-12. The kit might fit assembled into a car or could probably dismantle into some bags.
