Roland TD8 Electronic Drum Kit (triggers replaced)

  
Roland TD8 Electronic Drum Kit (triggers replaced). RolandMDS-8c drum frame and cymbal mounts (non-roland). I've replaced the foam trigger cones in the Snare and toms, and the larger foam cone in the bass drum.

I've also replace the piezo transducers in the three toms (see attached order form and photos). I've replaced the bass drum head, but the other heads are the originals and still work perfectly.

I originally bought the kit from PMT Bristol and they replaced the smaller snare with the larger PD-120. The smaller snare was the PD-80R (which is still included as the third tom), so the third tom (PD--80R) has a trigger in the rim too. The PD-80R looks exactly the same as the PD-80 and triggers the same. The functioning of the FD-8 hi-hat pedal is slightly below par. It works but you have to put the foot slightly over the top of the pedal to get it to close accurately.

Other than that the kit pays great due to the cones and tranducers being replaced. I never used the boom arm for the snare because I always found using a proper snare stand gave me more positioning options.

I've included a snare stand in the bundle, and the part attached to the side of the snare that allowed you to use the boom arm has been removed. That part is in the bundle though should you wish to re-attach it, along with the boom arm (see photo), but I think you'll find using the snare stand much better.
